A glorious 3 nights South African wildlife and natural landmarks safari

ONLY R6'899 per person sharing

We created this offer for the traveler who ‘wants to see all there is to see’, but choose not to hire a car. Situated in the province known as ‘The place where the sun rises”, this eco-friendly accommodation is ideal for guests to experience the best South Africa has to offer in terms of natural landmarks, free-roaming wild-life, including the Big 5, as well as culture and traditions.

Day 1 – Sunday afternoon arrival

Your Green Kruger Lodge South African Safari starts when your flight (self-arranged) lands at the awe-inspiring Kruger Mpumalanga International airport.  Our shuttle (JSL Transport) will then take you on a 2 hour drive from Nelspruit through the picturesque Crocodile River Gorge to drop you of at Green Kruger Lodge in Marloth Park (bordering the Kruger National Park).

The afternoon of your arrival will give you some time to relax and unwind – whether it is cooling-off in the splash pool, walking the various footpaths amongst the Giraffe, Zebra and various other animals or getting comfortable with your favourite book on a luxury couch on the open living area – this is your time to switch off and enjoy!

‘Connecting’ around the dinner table is an important part of the South African culture.  While enjoying the mouth-watering gourmet dinner (like only South Africans can make it!) you will become friends with other guests.  During dinner you will experience the bushveld in all its nocturnal glory – the sounds of the Lions, Hippos and Hyena’s travels for kilometers.

Day 2 – Monday Safari

Early morning…wake up at dawn and start your day with coffee & rusks on the patio before our safari guide collects you to start an exhilarating day in the world famous Kruger National Park. You will enter the Kruger Park at Crocodile Bridge Gate – the southern-most tip of the Park where most of the wildlife come to feed and drink.  After driving a few miles your guide will prepare a bush-breakfast at a watering hole or look-out point.  After breakfast you will continue North on twisting and winding roads where the Big 5 of South Africa can be spotted.

A lunch break will be spent at a restaurant (at your own cost), after which the guide will take a few more winding roads to exit again at Crocodile Bridge and deliver you home at Green Kruger Lodge.

After a short break where you can take a nap or freshen-up, a traditional South African dinner will be served.

Day 3 – Tuesday Panorama Tour

Once again an early rise to the day!  After coffee and rusks, the tour guide will collect you at the lodge at sunrise to start your tour - “a tour that will reward you with the kind of scenery that brightens your day and broadens your horizons”.

The trip starts at Marloth Park, then travelling to White River to Sabie where you will stop for a comfort break. From Sabie you will visit Bourke's Luck Potholes - giant potholes formed at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur rivers and then on to the the Blyde River Canyon - which is the world’s largest ‘green canyon’ because of the lush subtropical foliage.

On route you will visit the awe-inspiring Lisbon Falls, and Mac Mac Falls, as well as other natural landmarks such as the Pinnacle, the Three Rondavels and God’s Window.

After a full day of experiencing ‘the place where the sun rises” (meaning of Mpumalanga), you will return to the lodge for dinner.

This trip includes snacks and juice as well as a light lunch at Harries Pancakes.

Day 4 – Wednesday morning departure

Wake up at your own leisure, enjoy coffee and rusks on the patio, take a few ‘selfies’ with the wildlife roaming around and then start your day properly by indulging in a full English Breakfast.  Our shuttle will collect you after breakfast to take you on a scenic route back to the Kruger Mpumalanga International airport for your flight back.
