Day 1 – Sunday afternoon arrival
The afternoon of your arrival will give you some time to relax and unwind – whether it is cooling-off in the splash pool, walking the various footpaths amongst the Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra and various other animals or getting comfortable with your favourite book on a luxury couch on the open living area – this is your time to switch off and enjoy!
For dinner you can visit any one of the various restaurants in the area or get some take-away’s and enjoy dinner on the patio while listening to the nocturnal animals and photograph the wild-life roaming around the lodge.
Day 2 – Monday Safari
Early morning…wake up at dawn and start your day with coffee & rusks on the patio before our safari guide collects you to start an exhilarating day in the world famous Kruger National Park. You will enter the Kruger Park at Crocodile Bridge Gate – the southern-most tip of the Park where most of the wildlife come to feed and drink. After driving a few miles your guide will prepare a bush-breakfast at a watering hole or look-out point. After breakfast you will continue North on twisting and winding roads where the Big 5 of South Africa can be spotted.
A lunch break will be spent at a restaurant (at your own cost), after which the guide will take a few more winding roads to exit again at Crocodile Bridge and deliver you home at Green Kruger Lodge.
For the second evening’s dinner you might want to visit another restaurant or try some new take-away’s to enjoy at the look-out point at the Crocodile river (looking over the Kruger National Park).
Day 3 – Tuesday Panorama Tour
Once again an early rise to the day! After coffee and rusks, the tour guide will collect you at the lodge at sunrise to start your tour - “a tour that will reward you with the kind of scenery that brightens your day and broadens your horizons”.
The trip starts at Marloth Park, then travelling to White River to Sabie where you will stop for a comfort break. From Sabie you will visit Bourke's Luck Potholes - giant potholes formed at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur rivers and then on to the Blyde River Canyon - which is the world’s largest ‘green canyon’ because of thelush subtropical foliage.
On route you will visit the awe-inspiring Lisbon Falls, and Mac Mac Falls, as well as other natural landmarks such as the Pinnacle, the Three Rondavels and God’s Window.
This trip includes snacks and juice as well as a light lunch at Harries Pancakes.
For the last night, treat yourself to a dinner at the highly recommended Phumula Kruger restuarant or if you enjoy seafood, visit Tambarina in Komatipoort.
Day 4 – Wednesday morning departure
Wake up at your own leisure, enjoy coffee and rusks on the patio, take a few ‘selfies’ with the wildlife roaming around and then start your day properly by indulging in a full English Breakfast. During this time you can determine the route you are going to take to your next destination.
